GamesLab in winter semester 2025/26: five creative GameJam game prototypes!

Another winter semester is over and five new prototypes have been successfully developed by the more than 70 students on the "GamesLab: Video Game Development and Game Studies" course .

The students spent a semester diligently learning everything they needed to create five creative prototypes in five teams over the course of a weekend. Under the theme "(It's just a) Phase" (without platformers), the participants were allowed to submit game proposals, from which the final ones to be developed for the GameJam were selected.

In teams of 9 to 16 students from different departments (2D, 3D, audio, game design and coding), game prototypes were created independently over three days, which were then presented to the course and Professor Dr Fuchs in a plenary session a week later.

These five computer game prototypes were finally produced in development teams:
"Phase is...", "Servant of Monsters", "Mondi the Moon", "Lunar Bloom", "Phase the Moon". You can play the games here!
