The GamesLab of the University of Paderborn for the third time at Gamescom in Cologne

After the last two years, in which the game projects Shah Mat and Politworld were presented, this year again a trip from Paderborn to Cologne is mandatory for the students. This year too, the GamesLab at the University of Paderborn will have its own stand in Hall 8 (Campus and Career) under the Game Studies NRW flag. Project leader Prof. Dr. Jörg Müller-Lietzkow is very proud that the students are able to present their Urban Life 2060 project, which was created in collaboration with BigPoint GmbH from Hamburg, to a broad public for the first time. “The third trade fair appearance shows how sustainably the topic has now been accepted into the academic canon of the University of Paderborn. Above all, we see the significant increase in quality in our projects in the good, close and trusting cooperation with colleagues from other faculties and especially the IMT at the University of Paderborn. Participation in the most important global trade fair event is almost mandatory. In my opinion, there is no better way to advertise to potential students,” says Müller-Lietzkow. The special team effort and the willingness to work closely together over several semesters have created a new culture of teaching and research in Paderborn. The GamesLab team is really looking forward to Gamescom 2011 in Cologne.

The GamesLab is located on N5 in room 216. We look forward to your visit!
